It was the official launch of the Makhaya Ntini Foundation Sports Hub, based at St Gregory Primary School.
Celebrities and honoured guests like Makhaya Ntini himself, Roger Telemachus (former SA cricketer), Delron Buckley (Bafana Bafana legend), Mercia Baatjie from KFC Mini Cricket, Jason Sathiaseelan from Dolphins Inland Cricket and representatives from local businesses were present.

After a short welcome, the children enjoyed a day of mini-cricket matches and coaching sessions by the sporting legends. The big occasion was at lunch time when Makhaya Ntini officially opened the newly erected cricket net facilities.

The main focus of the Makhaya Ntini Sports Hub is to give the children of Estcourt and surrounding areas the opportunity to be coached and given chance to play sport. The Makhaya Ntini Foundation Sports Hub is a project for the community, based at St Gregory Primary School.

Details and information regarding booking coaching sessions and the registration procedures will be forwarded to all primary schools in Estcourt, Wembezi, Loskop and other surrounding areas.

The Makhaya Ntini Foundation envisages giving as many children from the community the opportunity to develop their skills through this project. A big thank you must also go to all corporate sponsors and many more contributors for making this project a reality. Thank you to all the schools, teachers and the community at large who supported the launch and made it such a resounding success.
To infinity and beyond with the Makhaya Ntini Foundation Community Project.
