As a result, the swimmers earned medals and achieved some personal best times.
Although Aqua Adrenaline only entered a handful of swimmers, the club achieved a noteworthy 10th position out of 24 participating clubs in the gala.
“Taking into account some of the other clubs had up to 30 swimmers, this is a great achievement.”
The following medals were achieved:
In the 13/14 Years category:
Emma Branco-Lizen earned one gold medal, two silvers and one bronze.
In the Open category (16 years and older):
Ingrid Groenewald finished with one bronze medal.
Minette Janse van Vuuren ended with three silver medals.
Rhuben Nortje earned one gold medal, one silver and two bronzes.
