PHOTOS: Women’s Forum enjoy a powerful cup of tea this Women’s Month

All in all, the day was filled with laughter and cheerful banter as the women enjoyed refreshments and tasty snacks, and also awaited the announcement of the lucky draw winner.

In the spirit of Women’s Month, the Hindu Women’s Forum hosted an afternoon tea to honour the women in the community.

The Lennoxton Library Hall was the venue for this lavish occasion, where women donned their best frocks and were empowered over a delicious ‘cuppa’.

Members from Newcastle Child Welfare presented motivational talks to the women.
