Drakensberg Secondary School blood donors do their bit

A whopping 22 new learners were welcomed as blood donors

With the help of the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), Drakensberg Secondary School learners have done their share in increasing the country’s blood stock.

Rowan Ramsunder, Amy Chisholm and Bandisa Ndlovu supported the blood donor clinic.

The SANBS team made a stop at the school last Tuesday where students walked in; ready to roll up their sleeves and save lives.

Thahira Shaik ready to make her third blood donation.

The learner blood donor clinic collected 58 units of blood, 75 learners attended.

Theolin Rammayas had his iron checked ahead of making a blood donation.

A whopping 22 new learners were welcomed as blood donors; the target for the clinic was set at 46.

Nokubongwa Mbona had her blood pressure examined.
