Paws and more at Christmas Market
“We are busy with the SPCA, revamping the boarding kennels,” explained Lions chairwoman Zarina Luck on the purpose of the walk. “Any funds we raise here will go towards that project.”

Snips hosted its annual Christmas Market on Saturday.
The event, which also incorporated the Newcastle Lions Club Dog Walk and Dog Show, was packed with shoppers from the early hours of the morning.

Sadly, the welcome rain washed the event out just before lunch.
Before the stall holders packed up and ran for cover, marketgoers could take their pets for a walk on a route towards the old Waterside Wimpy site for a minimum donation of R20.
