LOCAL bikers, Cruisers MCC, supported by other motorcycle clubs and community members, rolled into the parking lot at AbaQulusi Superspar in December to show their support for Vryheid SPCA.

From beneath the carport at the corner of Spar’s parking lot, volunteers pitched in to assist Vryheid SPCA in their sales of boerewors rolls and pet accessories to raise funds for the struggling organisation. Members of the public also donated pet food.

President of Cruisers MCC, Carel Burger, who is also an official at the State Veterinary Department was also in attendance and encourages the public to continue to show their support for the SPCA and the animals they take care of.
