Paint party to brighten the lives of children
With many messy hands, bellyfuls of laughter and even some faces covered in paint, it was a day well spent.

The community has come together to brighten the lives of the children at Môrester Children’s Home.
Resident, Nadia Aziz secured a playground set for the children and a paint party was organised to refurbish the play set.
Early on Saturday morning, the Newcastle Advertiser team was seen sanding down the old washed out paint on the jungle gym, and giving it a fresh coat of paint in a multitude of vibrant colours.
The children at the home soon joined in the fun, and even placed their hand prints on the equipment for that personal touch.

Advertising Manager Cherryl Mungal says: “It is a great way to get involved in the community and contribute to a worthy cause. We encourage other businesses and community members to assist organisations such as Môrester.”
