Golfers compete in Better Ball Competition
In first place was Brandt vd Berg and Renier Terblanche (50 points).
The Newcastle Town Club hosted a Better Ball format competition on Saturday, at the Newcastle Golf Club.
After a long day full of putting, driving, teeing, blasting and chipping, the top five teams were as follows:
In first place was Brandt vd Berg and Renier Terblanche (50 points). Second place went to Spunita Morgenrood and Tinkie vd Heever (49 points), followed by Jannie Esterhuizen and Ronnie Acker (48 points onco).
The count out saw Derick Putter and Jan Venter end in fourth place. The top five was rounded off by father and son duo, Boland and Ebert Koorts (47 points).
