PHOTOS: A gift of warmth for Kwazamokuhle School for the Disabled

Appreciation and joy radiated from the children and staff while the distribution was taking place

Local Gift of the Givers representative Jaaved Khan recently visited Kwazamokuhle School for the Disabled.

192 children with special needs receive education and care from the staff and educators at the school. The children have a variety of disabilities, ranging from physical to intellectual.

Principal Mrs Mabele says that children with autism are also enrolled at the school.

Aged from six to 18 years old, the children live in Loskop and surrounding areas, with some learners coming from further afield in KwaZulu-Natal and even other parts of South Africa.

Mrs Mabele, the staff and children were pleasantly surprised when Mr Khan told them he would be distributing blankets and diapers.
