Themba Shabalala from the Department of Sport & Recreation, who instructs these aero-marathons, defines aerobics as: “The key to living a healthy lifestyle, keeping fit and feeling good about yourself.”

The Colita Community Hall was packed with fitness fanatics, all eager to begin the fast-paced exercises.

Ngcino and Thulle Daki were there to help the attendees break out in the vibrant moves. Councillor Edith Lite stopped by to officially launch the programme and thank all who supported the event.

The classes will continue every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm.

Drenched in sweat and bursting with energy, Mr Shabalala advises that you bring along a friend, towel and water bottle. Hearty thanks went to sponsors who donated refreshments on the day.
