Fundraising run in aid of the animal shelter

Dozens of runners and walkers lined up to be part of the annual Family Fun Run

Locals take on the Family Fun Run/Walk on Sunday.

Estcourt Spar, Tops and Wimpy jointly hosted a family-friendly 5km run / walk in aid of the Estcourt Animal Shelter on Sunday.

When the clock struck 8am, feet were heard pelting down the street.

Exercise enthusiasts enjoyed the run, while other entrants opted to take a brisk walk instead. Our furry, four-legged friends and their owners also supported this fundraising initiative.

The morning was thoroughly enjoyed, in perfect weather conditions, with family and friends working up a sweat for a worthy cause. All proceeds raised will be donated to the Estcourt Animal Shelter.
