Residents got a taste of Germany at the Evangelical Lutheran Church’s (ELC) annual Christmas Market. The event took place at the Ouklip Avenue church grounds on Saturday.

Authentic German cuisine included spƤtzle (a shaped ‘pasta’), stollen (a cake filled with fruits and nuts), and butterkuchen (a butter cake). Other stalls offered handmade gifts, beverages, coffee, fashion items and more.

The ELC’s Pastor Thomas Beneke has thanked the community for their continuous support.

Those who attended the market enjoyed their taste of Germany at the annual Christmas Market.

They are already looking forward to next year’s event.
