Bowlers dress up for the occasion

Vryheid Bowling Club honoured Woman’s Day by hosting a fun Chicken competition on August 9.

We had a show of eight members who joined us for this fun filled event and played a game of 15 ends.

Winners are as follows:

Douglas Steele, Cornel Jordaan, Jackie Stroebel and Gesina Greylung.

Runners up are as follows:

Urcilla Marshall, Donald Marshall, Jan Kruger and Dries Els.

The men honoured the woman by dressing up as a lady and Douglas Steele won the best dressed category.
