Drakensberg FC fans are expected to come out in numbers as the team will be hosting Umsinga FC today (January 27).

Local soccer fans are known to fill the Kandahar Avenue sports ground whenever this team plays at ‘home’.

These two football clubs will be fighting to secure maximum points, since they are aiming to occupy the top spot on the KZN ABC Motsepe log.

Currently, Mkhambathini is in first place, followed by Umsinga in second place, both on 22 points.

Drakensberg is third with 21 points.

The game will start at 15:00.

The opening match will be a Nomgwenya Security Regional Men’s League encounter between Barcelona FC and Junior Eleven FC at 12:00.
