Ladysmith anglers consistent throughout the season
An all-time low of 85 points was accumulated by the eight clubs, but Ladysmith emerged triumphant

The last outing of the NFWAA Atlas Towlines League proved to be the toughest, as the fish were playing hard-ball and testing the anglers’ patience.
Ladysmith once again proved too strong for the opposition, scoring a total of 29 points, followed by Ace Aqua and Itec Freespool on 13 points each.
Chelmsford narrowly edged out Docrats for fourth position, followed by Endumeni, Glencoe and Riverside.

Amir Pooni of Chelmsford won the prize for the heaviest carp of 3.73kg, while Zaakir Bobat of Endumeni won the prize for the non-scaled category. Both winners received a miniature trophy, as well as R250 cash with compliments from Atlas Towlines.
The final league standings are: 1. Ladysmith – 94 points; 2. Itec Freespool – 81; 3. Docrats – 64; 4. Chelmsford – 62; 5. Ace Aqua – 49; 6. Endumeni – 32; 7. Glencoe – 30; 8. Riverside – 18.
The PRO congratulated Ladysmith on retaining the league title for three successive seasons.
