Trend Designs here to brighten interiors
The stock in the store will include bed-linen, wallpaper, cushions and artificial flooring to tastefully satisfy the needs of businesses in the hospitality industry.
For the past five years, Trend Designs has catered to Newcastle residents interior design requirements by providing tasteful designs keeping up with the latest in design trends.
However, Trend Designs was relaunched on Friday, July 28, and Newcastillians were introduced to the shop’s newest range of merchandise.
“We have changed from providing basic home furniture, to catering for a broader clientele by branching out to the hospitality industry,” said Trend Designs owner, Zaid Bam.
The stock in the store will include bed-linen, wallpaper, cushions and artificial flooring to tastefully satisfy the needs of businesses in the hospitality industry.
“I have a lot of confidence in the new venture, as I believe Newcastle is in the ideal place to be as it is, situated in-between the bigger cities,” said Bam.
Bam explained that to ensure the venture succeeded, him and his family resettled here.
“My family and I moved to Newcastle two weeks ago. I initially started Trend Designs 14 years ago, with stores in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. With the recession, I knew we would have to re-evaluate how the business was run. It made sense to start with Newcastle as it was central.”
With his hands on approach, Trend Designs was now officially here for Newcastle residents’ homes and businesses, and would serve the community.
“We will keep things fresh, and every three months we would like to launch a specific product. We have to be fresh and innovative and we would like the support of the residents,” Bam concluded.
