Just a few hours after the road was declared clear for motorists travelling between Vryheid and Melmoth following both lanes being obstructed by a recovery truck, another accident has occured near Hennie’s Garage.

Rescue service officials on scene have confirmed that no people were hurt in the head-on collision involving a mini-bus taxi and a Chevrolet Spark.
The vehicles, however, are said to have suffered massive damage.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution around the area and to drive slower as roads are slippery.
