Every dog has its day, but once its days are over, whose responsibility is it to remove its remains?
A complaint was received by the Vryheid Herald from a resident who found a dead dog lying at the corner of Heeren and High streets.
The man said that he contacted AbaQulusi Municipality Community Services numerous times to have the animal removed, but to no avail.
The municipality was contacted five times, said the man who was really concerned that the animal had been lying in the gutter since Wednesday.
The Vryheid Herald contacted Community Services at the municipality who said that they were unaware of the issue but they would do a follow up on the matter.
