Gardener’s delight at Tuinhuis

They are giving talks on general gardening and sharing some fresh ideas on how to use plants in the garden for your space, taste and location

The Gardener magazine is visiting Tuinhuis this morning. The magazine’s editor, Tanya Visser, and assistant editor, Anna Celliers, are giving presentations on gardening. They are giving talks on general gardening and sharing some fresh ideas on how to use plants in the garden for your space, taste and location. Anna tells us of how her passion for gardening came from her grandmother who had beautiful gardens. Tanya also comes from a gardening family and her parents have instilled a love of nature in her. The Gardener magazine was started by Tanya roughly 10 years ago, and the Afrikaans version of the magazine, Die Tuiner, was launched six years ago. The head office is based in Kloof, but they have been travelling South Africa giving presentations such as these for some time. Together, Tanya and Anna have published three books already. Tuinhuis will also be hosting a fun children’s gardening competition to get the youth involved in making the world a beautiful place.
