Successful El Alamein Dinner

Moth news:
Siegetown’s annual El Alamein Parade, Dinner & Dance was held on Saturday. Great fun was had by all who attended. We would like to thank Mr Jan Human for his informative speech about the Battle of El Alamein; Dougie McMaster for always being there with his wonderful bagpipes; Mariska for taking photos; Glen for driving us to the club and taking us back home again; Gavin Moore for the music; and of course to all of the Moths, Mothwas and club members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this evening the success it was.
Siegetown Moths and club members took part in the biannual Corrie Lundin Bowls tournament that was held in Harrismith on Sunday. Once again, we brought home the Moth Trophy and the Non-Moth Trophy – congratulations to all who took part!
Some of our Moths and club members will be travelling to Eshowe to take part in the Nonqayi Bowls this weekend (November 1 and 2). Good luck, good bowls, travel safe and most of all, HAVE FUN!
Siegetown will be hosting a Melodrama early next year (watch the press for the date). If any of our members and friends would like to participate or have any ideas, please contact Trevor Kirsten on 082-800-2748.

The weekly draw was won by Barbs – congratulations! We urge all our members to support the club on Friday nights. Remember, you have to be here to win!
What a game of rugby! Well done to the Sharks on your Currie Cup win and bringing the trophy home! Please remember that you can catch not only the rugby but all other sport on the big screen at the club.
