Sithembile Summer Challenge – gearing up for festive fun that will help needy kids

The summer holidays have started – a time when everyone needs to smile with joy. Naz FC has planned a big event as the festive fever mounts, which will be the first of its kind to take place at the Sithembile Stadium, Glencoe from December 13 to 16.

Entrance is R5.

Ash Khan, the co-ordinator of the event, said that there will be stalls, a funland and various side shows. He added that there will also be a live reggae band for entertainment and beauty pageants daily, as well as ball control and shooting pantsula, isibhujwa, hip-hop dancers, musical chairs and a traditional Zulu dance competition.

The highlight of each day will be the distribution of Christmas hampers to needy families, and toys to disadvantaged children.

The co-ordinator thanks TFS Wholesalers and Kyber Fuels for sponsoring the event, and every other person who has assisted.
