Winner uses prize money for crèche uniforms
Rosalia Sibisi is sewing uniforms for her pupils at Indumiso Crèche, with prize money earned at the Community Achievers Awards in November.

Choosing to offer her earnings for the sake of her beloved pupils is the exact reason why Khulisa’s Community Achievers Awards winner, Rosalia Sibisi deserves every cent she received.
With her prize, Mrs Sibisi purchased a sewing machine to sew new uniforms for pupils of Madadeni’s Indumiso Crèche.
Explaining her reasoning, Mrs Sibisi mentioned her deep love for the little ones, and keeping the happiness of both them and their parents foremost in her heart.
She said she was able to sew two uniforms each day.
“I love making the children look fantastic,” she enthused bashfully.
Khulisa Midlands’ Paul Bushell said he recently visited the crèche and was overwhelmed by Mrs Sibisi’s generosity, stating he was moved by the amazing story she had woven.
Mrs Sibisi was voted ahead of five other hopefuls to win the awards at the November last year.
The highly-esteemed panel of judges were touched by her selfless efforts to improve the lives of her pupils, and the numerous sacrifices made for the crèche’s sake.
In hindsight, it is apparent the judges made the correct decision.
