Defending champions Young Ottomans came back from a goal down to beat Young Callies by two goals to one. The highlight of the evening was the game between Colenso United and Barcelona. The game was played at a fast pace, with both teams having goal-scoring chances early on. The teams went into the break deadlocked. Midway through the second half, Colenso United took the lead when the Barcelona defence were caught off-guard. The latter came back strongly, only to be denied by the Colenso United goalkeeper who had a five-star game. The final score was: Colenso United 1 Barcelona 0. In other games, there were comfortable wins for Primrose, LT Milan and Bayern Munich, who progressed through to the quarter finals.
