OUR SINCERE condolences go to Rina and family on the passing of Tene.
Our club has lost a loved and appreciated member, who served on the committee for many years as president and held various other responsibilities.
Your humour on the greens will surely be missed.
The Northern Open Fours were hosted at the Vryheid Bowling Club last Saturday and Sunday with 10 Mens’ teams and five Ladies’ teams competing. Congratulations to the winning teams: Men: Norman; John; Trevor and Anil from Newcastle. Ladies: Ilva; Benita; Noellene and Estelle from Vryheid.
Runners up: Hogart; Phillip; Soon and Harald from Vryheid. Hannelie; Anna; Elsie and Essie from Dundee were the runners up in the ladies’ division.
A big thank you to everyone who brought sandwiches and to the ladies in the kitchen for the catering.
Congratulations to Petina and Nolan on the birth of your new baby. May little Ariel bring lots of joy.
