Driving under the influence of liquor
A four year-old child was run over and injured by a drunk driver while crossing a road in Mafusini, Dannhauser. The child sustained bruises to the legs and back. The driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving. Investigations into the matter continue.

Reckless and/or negligent driving
A resident of Hilltop Farm, Dannhauser was also arrested and charged with drunken driving and reckless and/or negligent driving. Constable PT Khumalo noticed the driver was under the influence after attending to an accident where the suspect collided with another vehicle. Investigations into the case continue.
Threatening with a firearm
Police have arrested one individual for pointing a firearm at another individual. It is alleged that the suspect pointed the firearm at the complainant after accusing him of victimising his daughter. Police are still investigating the matter.
