Time to take action

In light of recent events, the AbaQulusi Residents’ Association opened their committee meeting to members of the public.

The meeting, which was held at the Risen Son Academy hall on Monday evening, March 10, was attended by a few members of the public.

The turnout was not as great as was expected, when one considers the current state of Vryheid due to the aggressive municipal strike which is currently underway.

It was decided that further action needs to be taken against the perpetrators who are attempting to cripple the town by interfering with the basic services.

“We need everyone to be a part of this association so that we can show the municipality that we are serious about our town and that we care what happens to it and to its residents! Come and add your voice and soon the whisper will become a shout that will be heard!” was the plea from one of the committee members.
