Everyone is Irish on March 17

“May your pockets be heavy and heart be light. May good luck pursue you each day and night.” – Irish Blessing

Today is St. Patrick’s day and as tradition, it is a day of celebration and luck of the Irish.

In the early seventeenth century, Christianity was accepted into Ireland for the first time and that historical moment was the beginning of celebrations that have long not ended.

St. Patricks Day is a religious holiday in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Newfoundland and Labrador and Montserrat. This day is celebrated on March 17, the day Saint Patrick passed way. He spent his life converting pagans to Christians and was a firm believer in this religion.

Celebrations continue through out Ireland and in many other countries as well.
