Dannhauser Municipality makes history again

SMME's from the food and hospitality industries were mainly targeted.

Dannhauser Municpality made history once again when it became the first municipality in the country to successfully facilitate a training programme of Small Micro Medium Enterprises (SMME).
The municipality is also one of only two municipalities which were chosen to attend the graduation ceremony, held at the Dorothy Nyembe Community Hall in Mafahlawana.
The training comprised an intense but brief programme, which took place over five days in January. The training was an initiative taken by Cathsseta Bold Concept, in conjunction with Luthego Training and Development.
SMMEs in the food and hospitality business were mainly targeted. The programme’s objectives were to enhance entrepreneurship for sustainable growth, capacitate the business-owners in terms of customer service and hospitality, and provide required skills for growth and sustainability.
“It leaves all involved with a warm heart and a sense of achievement when you see municipalities delivering on their obligations of social and economic development, as stipulated in the Constitution of the Republic,” stated Veli Mdlalose, Compliance and Public Participation Officer at the Dannhauser Municipality.
