The two young men will be jetting off on Friday morning, and they say this is like a dream come true

Two young inspiring cricket players get a life time opportunity to embark on a cricket tour to New Delhi in India.

Avesh Singh and Sachin Bhoobun both in grade twelve at Ladysmith Secondary School are very excited to be selected by a Western Cape team for a two week cricket tour in India. The two young men will be jetting off on Friday morning, and they say this is like a dream come true.

The boys say they started playing cricket when they were still in grade 7, ” We’ve known each other since we were kids and have been practising regularly. Now our hard work is paying off,” explained Avesh. Local businessmen together with the school’s governing body sponsored the two young men, ” We would like to thank the school and the sponsors for giving us this wonderful opportunity without whom this would not be be possible,” enthused the excited boys. Pooven, Tyler , Saif, Prishalin are other local boys from Ladysmith will also be joining the team for the cricket tour.
