THE VRYHEID Vintage Car Club is hosting its annual Car Show on June 14.
This is by far the largest vintage car show in Northern KZN. Last year there were more than 280 vehicles exhibited.
All vintage or classic car clubs, hotrod and motorcycle clubs, as well as individual owners and owners of vintage tractors and implements or stationary engines are invited to display their vehicles and machines.
New car and motorcycle dealers are all welcome to display their latest models. Exhibitors are welcome to display the history and restoration process of theirvehicle or machine (ie: before and after photos, etc). Let us use this opportunity to showcase our heritage vehicles to the public, and especially to our youth of today.
The venue is the Lucas Meyer School Sports Field in South Street (at the corner with High Street), and the gate will open at 7:30pm.
This is a day for the whole family, and a day which will ultimately benefit Vryheid Hospice and the Old Age Home.
In addition to the virtual history of motoring on display, there will be spitbraai and food stalls available, tea and coffee, jumping castles, and lucky ticket draws.
This is a show not to be missed!
