uThukela hosts entrepreneurship expo to improve skills development

Ladysmith uThukela recently hosted a Mandela Children’s Entrepreneurship & Career Expo in Driefontein.
Driefontein community members packed into the huge marquee, and many MECs were also present.
66 students from Mnambithi FET College were presented with certificates for graduating in their Skills Development studies. The students also received tools to start off their own businesses.
Song and dance items were then rendered to entertain the cheerful crowd.
Ladysmith Mayor Vincent Madlala and uThukela Mayor Dudu Mazibuko briefed the crowd and congratulated the students for taking this golden opportunity to make something of themselves in life. An atmosphere of progress and success prevailed at the Expo!
