3G-enabled network coming soon to Msinga

This project aims to ensure universal access to and services for all people of the country, regardless of social standing.

Never fear when 3G-enabled network is near!
Thanks to the Universal Services and Access Agency of South Africa ( USAAA) this project has been initiated following the adoption of the Broadband Policy by Cabinet on December 4, 2013. This project aims to ensure universal access to and services for all people of the country, regardless of social standing.
This is good news to Msinga and Emalahleni – with the new 3G-enabled network research and communication will be done in a faster, more effective manner. Social networking speeds will be doubled, allowing for easier communication and interaction. Locals are overjoyed at this news, for in the past they were limited in this aspect and received only 2G coverage
This is good news for stakeholders in various institutes as well, as the project aims to not only provide 3G to general members of the public, but also to health facilities such as clinics, education facilities such as schools, and government departments such as local municipalities. With an impressive number of 49 public clinics across two municipalities receiving internet connectivity, speedy healthcare and quality provision of health services will soon follow suit.
Five base stations in Msinga already have gone live and two more will be activated in Emalahleni. This proves that the USAAA is hard at work to push back frontiers of poverty and to ensure fast-paced development in rural areas.
