Criminals find no peace in Paradise

Paradise has seen a drastic decline in crime.

Since the inception of the neighbourhood crime watch in June last year, Paradise has seen a drastic decline in crime.

Mark Jacobs from Two Eagles said he was happy with the success of the endeavour.

“Things have calmed down and we have not had an incident for more than a month, but we cannot afford to sit down and relax,” said Mr Jacobs.

While believing that the crime has dropped due to a strong visual presence, Mr Jacobs said he would like to thank the Paradise community, the neighbourhood watch committee, Allan Kelly, Barry Rai, Yusuf Dhoda, Raj Maharaj and AK Dhalech for all the help and support in ensuring that Paradise was a safer suburb.
