Bowlers enjoy a successful day at Ncandu Club
Bowlers enjoyed a sunny Sponsor Day as Ncandu Bowling Club celebrated its winners.
Enthusiastic bowlers were blessed with a lovely-sunny day, delicious food and an array of prizes at the Sponsor Day hosted by Ncandu Bowling Club last Saturday.
Ncandu Bowling Club extends its sincere gratitude to all the wonderful sponsors for their generosity and kindness, which ensured that the event was a great success.
“A very big thank you to Newcastle Bowling Club and Dundee Bowling Club for your continuous support and camaraderie both on and off the bowling green,” added Yolanda Boshoff of Ncandu Bowling Club.
Three games of 12 ends were played in true sportsmanship.
Congratulations to the following podium winners:
- First place: Grant Teasdale, Alice Howe and Ron Howe;
- Second place: Susan Strydom, Chris White and Dennis Bellingham;
- Third place: Hannes Willemse, Willie Muller and Mariska Kuhn.
Ncandu Bowling Club handed a donation to Brandon Delport as a token of respect and goodwill to assist him with his upcoming Bowls South Africa Under-35 Inter-District Championship, which takes place from September 24-27 in Welkom.
“We wish Brandon the best of luck,” concluded Boshoff.
