uThukela says the reason for the water being cut off is a burst pipe at the corner of Ruby Gailey Drive and Impala Road. They are currently working on the problem and so had to cut off the water supply.
A Ladysmith Gazette journalist went out to investigate, but could find no evidence of a burst pipe in the area mentioned by uThukela.
uThukela are not sure when the water will be back on, although it should be by tonight.
