Illegal dumping has become a major problem in Ladysmith.

Many people think it’s okay to just dump their unwanted refuse anywhere they see fit, causing a stench in the air and an unhygienic environment for residents of the area.

All sorts of rubbish is thrown on open veld in or near residential areas. Nowadays, it seems that people pay no attention to ‘No Dumping’ signs, creating dump sites all over the place.
