Edrich Nortjé and Willem Husselman have earned the honour of being selected for the Elite KZN Wrestling Team. The team will eventually consist of the top ten provincial wrestlers. Only four wrestlers have been chosen so far (the other two are from Richards Bay and Durban). The wrestlers must fulfil certain requirements, such as earn a medal at SA level and participate in provincial tournaments. They must also be highly ambitious in order to achieve their short- and long-term wrestling goals. Mr Jan Combrink of Richards Bay Westling Club, head coach of the province, is in charge of this elite team.
