The Newcastle Advertiser has joined hands with this initiative to offer you, the public, the opportunity to write a story to celebrate the phenomenal woman/women in your life who have contributed in a positive way in your life or to that of the Newcastle community.
This woman could be your daughter, your sister, your mother, your mother-in-law, your aunt, a family member, a female colleague, a friend or someone providing an uplifting/social service that has touched your life or that of your family in a special way.

The stories will be featured weekly. Please ensure that you submit images of the woman being celebrated to go with the story (if possible) and/or her contact details.
