Attention all local talents

uShaka Marine World and the ‘Search For The Stars’ team get set to travel the province over the next three months in search of KZN’s hidden gems to add some fresh flavour to the upcoming festive season at uShaka Marine World.

The uShaka Search For The Stars team, in partnership with the Department of Arts and Culture, will attend the 2014 Umbele Wethu Cultural festival final, which takes place on Saturday, July 12 at the Cecil Emmett Hall in Vryheid from 9am.

The aim is to scout talent for their annual Search for the Stars competition.

Winners of this uShaka talent search will obtain a working contract to perform in the park for 2015.

Performers both amateur and professional will be performing in many categories, namely: afro gospel, ingoma yezintombi, ingoma yezinsizwa, modern dance, hip-hop, indlamu, kwaito and other speciality acts.

uShaka Marine World’s Search for the stars have over the past 7 years, created over 3000 jobs and this event on Saturday, July 12 will be a great opportunity to seek further unseen talent.
