Strike numbers begin to grow
The strike has not yet begun, but the group is slowly growing.
The planned municipal and community strike for today is slowly picking up speed.
Strikers have yet to take to the streets, but the gathered group has slowly grown larger over the past two hours. It is believed that two more buses of strikers will be dropped off within the next hour.
Members of the National Union of Mine Workers (NUMSA) have also joined the ranks of the striking community members. Officials are on-scene to try and maintain order and peace from the strikers.
