Amajuba Rotary Club resurrected

Amajuba Rotary Club has reopened its doors by inducting 21 new members in an elegant ceremony held at Blackrock on July 2.
Newly elected president, Johan Wagner, was absolutely thrilled about his recent appointment, admitting it was a dream come true. “I am pleased with the attendance this evening and I must say- the vibe is fantastic,” said Mr Wagner.

The Rotary Club aims to foster friendships within the club itself as well as with the people they serve. District Governor, Greg Cryer emphasised members should not be judged solely by their attendance, but rather by how they are able to serve others in the time they have.
“I am convinced Amajuba Rotary Club will soar. The club had to reach its demise to be faced with a broader spectrum of challenges in its resurrection,” said Mr Cryer.
With more than 1.2-million members in 200 countries worldwide, Amajuba Rotarians have committed themselves to taking on the most pressing humanitarian challenges alongside its fellow members.
In its resurrection, Amajuba Rotary Club will strive to serve the community with dignity, humility and pride. The club has undertaken to enhance the beauty and promise of our people through camaraderie, compassion and unrivalled devotion.
