Local Criminal Record Centre (LRC), Women's Network and Men for Change of the Forensic Services together with Khulisa gave new hope to the family, who despite their meagre means, had taken in two young girls who had lost their home in a fire.

The 67 minutes spent to honour Madiba’s memory on Mandela Day, made all the difference to an underprivileged family on Lister Farm, Madadeni.

Last Friday, the Local Criminal Record Centre (LRC), Women’s Network and Men for Change of the Forensic Services together with Khulisa gave new hope to the family, who despite their meagre means, had taken in two young girls who had lost their home in a fire.

Touched by their plight, the police donated food hampers, clothing, school uniforms and shoes to them.

“Our office would like to thank our sponsors. May God bless them and their families!” said Lieutenant Ashika Anandhaw.
