Life imprisonment for rapist

FCS Unit ensure rapist is put behind bars

Jeremiah Nkosi has been jailed for life on three counts of rape and a further five years for kidnapping.
The Dundee Regional Court found Nkosi guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl in November 2012 in the Nondweni area.
The teenager was walking to her home when Nkosi ran up to her and grabbed her.
He then ordered her to kneel down and cover her eyes with a jacket so that she wouldn’t see where he was taking her. He then assaulted her when she refused to do so.
Nkosi took her to a mountain where he raped her several times before taking her to a house where he raped her again.
Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Mmamonnye Ngobeni commended members of the Dundee Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit for their exemplary investigation which resulted in their conviction.
