Book your spot at the sixth Cansa Relay for Life
Each person who shares the Relay for Life experience can take pride in knowing that they are working to create a world where this disease will no longer threaten our loved ones or rob anyone of another birthday
The countdown has begun for Estcourt’s sixth CANSA Relay for Life. Relay for Life is not an event but a life changing event where one can experience the full range of human emotions from joy and laughter to utter grief and sadness, it is a place where a survivor can meet with other survivors and give and gain hope. It is a place where one can remember and celebrate the life of family and friends lost to cancer.
It is a place where relayers become cancer fighters who commit themselves to fight on until a cure is found. Relayers are reminded of the following:
1.The planning committee cannot accept any new teams. All teams have been allocated a site and tent. Walk-ins are allowed at R20 per relayer.
2. Teams must deposit participation fees and donations into the Nedbank account before the Relay.
3. All team captains, survivors and service providers must meet on Wednesday, August 27 at 6pm at Forderville Primary School.
Relayers raise the money, the money funds research, research kills cancer. With your help we are not fighting for one type of cancer alone… but for every birthday threatened by cancer in every community. Each person who shares the Relay for Life experience can take pride in knowing that they are working to create a world where this disease will no longer threaten our loved ones or rob anyone of another birthday.
