Reward offered for information on bike thieves

Newcastle police’s Vehicle Division is offering a reward for the person who can give them information which will lead to an arrest of bike thieves.
A spate of motorcycle thefts over the past few months in Newcastle has the biking community taking extra care with their motorcycles.
Almost every suburb of Newcastle has been hit, bikes disappearing from yards and from behind locked gates.
Motorcyclists are urged to park their bikes in a safe location out of view at night, and to up security measures.
