Lacklustre response from police on Korb and Ihlenfeldt murders

Continuous pressure from the media has yielded no answers for the bereaved family and friends of Dean Korb and Greg Ihlenfeldt.
Despite numerous requests made to police spokesperson, Captain Shooz Magudulela, answers provided on the ongoing investigations can be described as lacklustre and rushed.
Captain Magudulela responded on July 24, 21 days after the original query was submitted, regarding the apparently stagnant status of both investigations.
Shortly thereafter, Captain Magudulela went on leave for two weeks. Understandably he was unavailable to respond to any questions during this time.
He returned to work on August 12, and has yet to respond to a list of follow-up questions sent to him on July 25, shortly before he went on leave.
It seems Captain Magudulela did not grasp that two cases were under discussion, and his responses lacked clarity sought after by the families.
In response to a question asking for comment on the status of both cases from the Investigating officer, Captain Magudulela responded simply: “These cases are still being investigated like any another (sic) cases which have been reported to the Newcastle Police.”
