Brave guard wounded during Pick ‘n Win robbery

Qomkufa Security Guard, Brian Sithole has been praised for his act of bravery during the horror shoot-out at Pick ‘n Win Supermarket.

Sithole was on guard at nearby Goodluck Supermarket and fired at robbers when he saw what was going on.

But robbers fired back at him. It was said that at least 15 bullets were fired at him – three of which struck him in the leg, buttocks and calf.

Witnesses to the incident thanked Sithole for his bravery which saved lives.

Ten men were arrested originally for the robbery while an inyanga was arrested later on. They have all appeared in court.
