UPDATE: Cop killers brought to book

Three suspects believed to be responsible for the heinous murder of Madadeni policeman, Lieutenant Aaron Khoza, have been apprehended.

Three suspects believed to be responsible for the heinous murder of Madadeni policeman, Lieutenant Aaron Khoza were brought to book last week.

Lt. Khoza was murdered in his home on October 12.

It is believed the suspects did not expect Lt. Khoza to be at home when they burgled his house, but he paid the ultimate price for his presence.

Community members said Lt. Khoza had been a true hero in the community, and they were shocked about the lawlessness in South African.

Although is was initially speculated Lt. Khoza had been killed because of his exemplary efforts in fighting crime, new evidence suggested it was simply a burglary gone utterly wrong.

“Madadeni Police have arrested three suspects. The first on Friday and two others were arrested on Saturday,” said police spokesperson, Captain Shooz Magudulela.

He confirmed evidence in other crime scenes had led the police to the suspects who were found in possession of property stolen from Lt. Khoza’s home.

One more suspect is still at large and the police are working hard to find the perpetrator.

The three suspects will appear in the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court soon.
