Second suspect in Bafana Bafana captain murder case arrested in Ezakheni?

Suspect in murder case of Bafana Bafana captain arrested close to Ladysmith

The Hawks appear to have made a significant breakthrough in the murder case of slain Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.

A second suspect in the shooting incident was arrested in Ezakheni C-section earlier this afternoon (Saturday) by members of the National Intervention Unit (NUI). According to a police sketch kit, the suspect is an African male, age 25, tall, of slender build, medium brown in complexion.

Arrangements were made with the Pietermaritzburg Tactical Task Team (TRT), whereby a hand-over of the suspect was carried out.

Hawks members in an unmarked Golf GTi were waiting at Wimpy Ladysmith in Murchison Street.

Bystanders confirmed the suspected handed over was the same man that was featured in the police  sketch kit.
