BlackBerry becomes very “munchy”

BBM becomes very “munchy”, as screen shots of timed messages on android phones and iPhones can be taken. The contact that sends you the message is, however, notified in red that a screenshot (munch) has been taken of the message.

So if you think that your timed message only lasts for that specific time period, think again – you will be caught napping if you’re not aware that your friends can still take screen shots of your disappearing message. The only warning you get is a friendly notification that your once-trusted friend took a screen shot of your timed message.

To “munch” is a slang term used by the younger generation for “taking a screen shot on a cell-phone”.
